Artist Statement - Cause and Effect
For this year's project I wanted to show how my life has changed throughout the years. I thought by showing some personal pictures from past and the present would be a good way to represent cause and effect. It took time for me to settle on how I was going to present this but by seeing previous projects I thought it would be a good idea to do something different. I know I am not the only person that has moved to a new country for whatever reason it may be. I have added pictures of when I was very young showing how I was always at the beach with my family transitioning to moving to a place where there was no kind of place for me to take a breath a fresh air. It has been 12 years that I have been in Canada now but it there have been several bumpy roads throughout the process. I am more than happy that I was able to adapt and be grateful for where I am now.
